During 18 years in private law practice, I represented hundreds of businesses, nonprofits and individuals in a broad array of commercial and consumer matters, including startup, mergers, negotiation, crisis management, lawsuits and bankruptcies.
I left traditional law practice in 2018 in order to expand beyond legal work alone and engage with more diverse clients and projects.
I now work with individuals and organizations providing business consulting, personal counseling and freelance legal work. I also provide circle-process mediation for dispute resolution and reconciliation, both in and out of litigation.
I live in Wabanaki territory in Brunswick, Maine, USA, with my family.
I received my undergraduate degree from Brown University (1995) and J.D. from Maine Law (2002), but my greatest teachers are the masters and elders in the Tibetan Buddhist, Native American and other traditions that I have had the great good fortune to know and love over more than 25 years.
If I am able to be of any help, it is due entirely to the blessing of my mentors.
